The view from the window
I don't know if you can see this very well in the picture, but I was putting the girls down for their nap a few minutes ago and saw this outside the window...
Apparently everything is bigger in the country. I am hoping that our chickens will be feasting on these guys come spring. Nasty.
PS. As I mentioned above, the spider was outside the window..Otherwise I would not have felt safe getting my hand this close to him. I would have been running and screaming.

Ewwwww! Yuck! I HATE spiders.....really ANY creepy-crawly thing. Oh, these buggers don't just grow big in the country. The biggest spider I've ever seen was here....in the city I live in....and it was larger than a tauranchula-sp? (legs and all).
Let's just hope they stay OUTSIDE!
Love ya.

Oh man...Remember what happened to Over a few years ago? I actually get my house sprayed now every 3 months with a "perimeter" spray. The little 8-legged friends NEVER come in my house. It's soooo worth it. Now I'm creeped out! ;o)

Just in case anyone was worried or wondering, I did a little research online and figured out for sure that the spiders we have here are not brown recluses..just harmless large nasty spiders.
