What would you do...update
Well, yesterday when I wrote the post, I thought it was all over...but it wasn't.
I happened to be looking through the ads on craigslist again after blogging (I do this several times a day..especially when there's something specific that I'm looking for.) and came across an ad listed by the same people, for the same group of appliances. Now I was really mad! I emailed her and basically said, what the heck? I offered her $200 for the set and a guaranteed pick up of that night.
She emailed me back and appologized over and over for what had happened the night before..she felt really bad. Her husband had told her to take care of it and then when she did, he was mad at her. She said that the whole time she just wanted to sell it to me for the original agreed upon price (which was $150) the whole time and it had caused this huge fight. Anyway, she told me that she wasn't happy with the way she was being treated by the other people that had made offers and said that if I could pick up tonight for $200 then I could have it.
So we did. Josh and my father in law went last night and picked up our new appliances and I'm so happy with them...nothing is actually installed yet, but they're so pretty! Solid black glass cooktop oven with all the bells and whistles, really nice looking black dishwasher, etc. I can't wait to get them installed.
We may have broken up a marriage, but we got a great deal!
(I really hope there's no truth to the first part of that statement!)
I'll take some before/after pics of our new appliances and blog about it when I can.

Hey Kristi,
Glad to hear things worked out in the end. Isn't getting settled in a new place a bear sometimes? I can't wait to see pictures!
