It's about time

It's about time that I blogged again. It's been a long and full couple of weeks.

As of tonight, we will have lived in our new house for one whole week. Happy anniversary to us! As I write this, Josh is upstairs laying floor in the last room (our bedroom). Well, last room for now...we technically have still the second bathroom floor to do as well as what we call the mud room. Not to mention the room we affectionately call the "grow room". The former owners of our house had several pot plants and that is where they grew them. We later found out from our new neighbor that the lady that lived here worked for the medical ,marijuana organization and her husband was a disabled veteran who has a medical marijuana license. So at least it was legal. =) After we finish the bedroom, we will have laid new floor in approximately 1300 square feet of our house. It is so much better than what was here before and I'm really proud of us! I won't go into all the things that we've done over the past couple weeks, but yesterday I decided to start a list of all the things that I did that day so that I could blog about it. So what follows is a list of my day yesterday. I don't do everything on this list every day of course, but this is typical of the amount of work that I've been doing every day since we moved in.
*I actually slept in today til about 8am (normally I'm up around 6:30am or so)
*get babies out of bed
*make hot chocolate/coffee for me and boys
*make phone calls to set up our new account for our water bill
*put babies in high chairs for cheerios and bananas
*get Jayden some cereal
*unload/reload dishwasher
*change diapers..leave 2 babies naked to air out diaper rash
*clean up potty puddles
*make 3 bottles
*get babies redressed, diaper cream and diapered
*babies down for nap
*take shower
*get dressed/make-up
*wipe down counter/sink/toilet
*pick up clothes from bathroom floor
*make a pop tart
*eat while writing down everything I've already done
*fix volume on tv for boys
*change light bulb in laundry room
*clean ceiling in laundry room
*clean light fixture
*put clothes in my bed to fold later
*start new load of laundry (PS. I'm pretty sure this marked the millionth load of laundry that I've already done in our new house.)
*clean/sweep laundry room
*clean/sweep kitchen dining room
*take garbage out
*spread bark dust in the flower bed that I weeded/cleared and planted in yesterday
*search for the cat
*make bottles
*start clearing the boxes from the hallway
*start another load of laundry
*bottle hunt in girls' room
*clean hallway
*sweep hallway, living room, dining room
*make boys clean 20 things in their room
*make lunch for everyone-(peanut butter and banana for girls, pbj for bryce, bologna for jayden and croissant for me)
*eat lunch
*cut up fruit for girls
*sit and enjoy watching the girls eat

At this point, obviously it was lunch time..probably about 12:45. I figured that no one is going to want to read all the things that I do for the rest of the day because it's incredibly boring. So I stopped writing stuff down. But the rest of the day continued much of the same way.

Well, this is a long and boring post and if you all have read all the way to here, you must really like me. Thanks.
