I'm not one for tag

But, I'll at least fulfill the request of a well meaning blog game going on... Here's 8 interesting things about me:

1. I'm a fainter. I've probably fainted 10-12 times in my life. All relating to some sort of deep pain, usually in the knee or shin area. When I faint, I'm usually out for 30-40 seconds and have dreams that seem like they last 3 minutes. I fainted twice when I used to work at Standard TV and appliance, once by myself when I ran back to the the truck and hit my knee on my way into the back, once with my delivery partner while we were carrying a stove upstairs. He just laughed at me. My brother still laughs when he recalls me fainting in the garage after spiraling out of control on my bike as a kid.

2. I love the outdoors. My body literally reacts as if I've taken a drug (not that I know that that feels like) when I walk into a fresh forest. The smells, cool air, scenery and calmness are enough to make me want to live as a wild aboriginal person (I have no idea what that means).

3. My pet peeve is clutter. I get claustrophobic and begin to slightly panic when doing things like decorating a Christmas tree while decorations surround me. I become a very unpleasant person to be around.

4. I haven't cried more than a tear in almost 10 years. I'm a bit too steady when it comes to emotions.

5. I made a three pointer in the championship game of the 4a basketball tournament in high school. Course, we were down by about 20 and it was the last 40 seconds of the game and those were my only points... But still, it counts for something, right?

6. I'm attracted to my wife more every day. Some poor people believe that once you get married your stuck with one person and you miss out on all the rest. If they only knew the joy of knowing someone more and more every day and having true connection with someone.

7. In light of our triplets, I have been called "Captain Sperm of America." Not sure if I am going to keep that nickname or not... Not even sure if it's appropriate to blog something like that. *smiles and wonders if he should hit the backspace a number of times...* *thinks to himself, "I'll never live this one down"* *considers asking wife if she would like to veto this one* *realizes he's past the point of no return*

8. My earliest memory is playing games with my mom. She would freeze on all fours until I kissed her cheek. Now she plays with my kids and I'm so thankful they have such wonderful grandparents!

And before I go... One of my favorite recent photos of the girls...

Roll call and opinion poll in one post

Ok, google analytics says over the last 30 days I've gotten visits from 26 states and a few people from overseas. Who the heck are you people? Here's your chance to come out of the shadows and say hi, who you are, and why you look at my blog. I'm especially interested in the 50+ visits from Colorado. I don't know anybody in Colorado! Don't be shy, comment... Second, did something last night during a reception at a wedding that I felt really guilty about and wanted to see how bad the rest of the world thought about it and if you've ever done it too. I took two entrees. Chicken Cordon Blue to be exact. First of all, I didn't need to cause man those things are filling... But what if a bunch of people were as scandalous as I? There'd be some pretty angry people who didn't get any food:( What a selfish moron I am. Anyway, you ever done that? Or maybe two desserts? That's probably more common...

all 7 of us! and two cute brothers

amateur

The true measure of an amateur photographer is how long he spends in photoshop before the photo is even ready for a small web version... Kristi and I are going to try to get some better ones and get at least one good one of Adelynn later today or tomorrow...
