OMG!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! You showed very nicely what I tried to in my "Triplets and Instant Celebrity" video. Mine were only 6-weeks and I wasn't used to the attention. It was tough. You have an incredible amount of patience. It's a crazy, wonderful life, huh? I never said it was bad in my video. Most interpreted it as complaining. It's just overwhelming sometimes - especially when you hear the same question (or witty comment) over and over and over. Oh, by the way, how old are they again? LOL
we have triplets as well and found both videos to be wonderful. we've been trying to tell people about how overwhelming it is to go out in public with triplets. People don't realize the amount of silly questions (are those triplets) and other remarks that people say. You had a tremendous amount of patience in your video. I'm not sure that I would have lasted that long!!!
thanks so much again.
LMBO!!!! I saw the first video awhile ago. Now yours! People, I swear! Did no one see the camera?? It seems like you had it attached to the stroller or something.
Okay, so I know that the effort to raise multiples increases exponentially with the addition of just one more...but I can totally relate to the stupid things that people say. We have boy/girl twins that are now 21 months old... I still get asked if they are identical. I think, seriously? They are a BOY and a GIRL. And the definitely don't look ANYTHING alike... The attention does seem to slow slightly over time...'enjoy' it while you can!

Wow. My sister told me I had to watch this video! All I can say is WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?? I hope I have never said anything stupid to parents of multiples. You guys have too much patience.. I would have run those people over with my triple stroller:)
Thanks. As a Mom of triplets, I know I'm not alone. The video didn't have anyone taking pictures of the kids...this happens to me every time I go out in public. When they ask if they can take a pic of the trio I say, "Sure, if I can take a picture of you." I have 8 photos of random people.
your children are beautiful and truly a blessing. I do think you all (the other video as well) are too hard on people. You can tell by their faces that they are only good intentioned people, they aren't trying to be malicious. I have never seen triplets before in my life. I am guilty of asking a dumb question, like are they Identical? to a boy and girl set. What do I know? I've never had one!
I'm pregnant with triplets, and I'm getting the same comments only directed at my rather large tummy! People just say the same thing over and over and over.....
Thanks for posting ;-)
That was wonderful and brings back the memories. Our triplets justed turned 2 in December but since we don't use the triplet stroller anymore, we don't get the attention we did when they were smaller. I have to be honest that sometimes I do miss it a little. Just a little. When they were very young, I took them to Walmart in the stroller and some teenager commented to her friend, "That sh!t had to hurt!" That's the only time I've really been offended by the remarks.
A great video! Thanks so much for sharing it!!
I just found out last week that we're pregnant with triplets. I'm already thinking that I need to get a video camera and record my own outings. If I do, I'll make sure to post them so you all care share.
Thanks for sharing yours. It put a smile on my face and has hopefully prepared me (somewhat) for what is to come.
