Adelynn is home!

Our precious number 2 is finally home from her 1 week stayover at OHSU for a bad cold/virus! And she's very beautiful! Well, that hasn't changed, but I felt compelled to say it.

Adelynn Update

Well, it is Sunday evening and I just talked to one of the doctors regarding Adelynn.  She said that she believes that she is definitely turning a corner for the better.  Her breathing (or lack of breathing) episodes are getting shorter and less sevear.  (is that spelled right?  It looks weird.)  The nurses have commented on how much better she looks and that she seems better able to cough the mucus out, which she wasn't able to do before.  The doctor didn't say when specifically she thought she'd be coming home, so we're still waiting on that =(  But hopefully it will be soon.  It's really weird not having her here.  It's sad to see Kynden and Ellyanna dressed in matching clothes and see another lone matching outfit hanging in the closet.  I gave the babies baths this morning (it's our weekend morning ritual.)  and only got out 2 sets of everything.  There's definitely an Adelynn shaped hole in our hearts.  We will be happy when she is able to come home.  But for now I know she is being well taken care of and in the safest place possible so that makes it a tad bit easier.  Kynden and Ellyanna continue to get better as well, they have showed no signs of getting to the point that Adelynn did.  Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers.  I'm sure it kept all three babies from being in the hospital!

Adelynn is staying another night

Unfortunately, Adelynn will be at OHSU another night. She is doing better however and we're very hopeful that she'll be able to come home tomorrow. Kristi was able to go over to OHSU today to see her. My mom came and watched the other girls and Bryce and Jayden.

Thank you everyone for praying and for letting us know you are thinking of the babies!

Adelynn back in the nicu:(

The girls are still sick with a cold or virus. Adelynn had to go into the nicu today and will be there for at least 24 hours. She wasn't eating well and was not breathing well either. Please pray that the virus would pass quickly! And that the Ellyanna and Kynden would not get any worse.

Stop this train

Was pressure washing the roof the other day listening to "Stop this Train" by John Mayer and I found myself with tears running down my face thinking about how awesome my parents are and how blessed I am to have parents who have invested themselves in me and shown me unconditional love. I consider my mom and dad to be two of the biggest gifts God has given me, right next to my wife. Mom and Dad, I love you! I'm incredibly grateful that I will be able to spend eternity with you!
