Monday update

Kristi is back on Magnesium. Still at the hospital. Today they are going to try to take her off of Magnesium and give her an oral medication that should do the same thing. They are going to try that later today. Small possibility that she could go home if the oral medication goes well. The goal is still 32-34 weeks. Right now she's at 28.5 weeks. Please pray that the oral medication works well, otherwise they will have to setup a more long term iv that goes all the way to her heart! Thank you for your prayers!

Last hooray for the boys

Well, it's all testosterone at the house today. A few more weeks of "boys rule"! Kristi is doing well again today. The contractions are still non-existent. Me and the boys went to the park and to the rose garden today and are visiting Kristi right now. We might go see Over the Hedge tonight at the Hood. Anybody want to join us? Kristi is probably going to start getting really bored soon. Any visitors would be received with open arms. Small chance that Kristi may be able to come home early next week. Although that might be good, I know it would be a short stay at home before she would have to come back. Thank you everybody for your prayers!!!

Friday night at the hospital

What a horrible day to travel back and forth to the hospital... Every freeway backed up. I'm here with the boys and Kristi is feeling a lot better. She got dinner and the magnesium affect is really lessening. She's able to keep her eyes open without feeling dizzy and she's actually smiling at the moment. She's been pricked by needles 6 times so far since yesterday... Oh and by the way, the babies are all very large for their age. Baby a is 2lb 9oz (70th percentile), b is 3lb 2oz (93rd percentile, c is 2lb 15oz (87th percentile). We haven't assigned names to the positions yet. Bryce wants to say hello: "i was at grandma's for 2 nights isn't that cool that's it" Keep in touch... Kristi would love to receive your emails (thanks Karyn!).

no contractions!

quick update at 10:00am... Looks like contractions have totally stopped. Very, very good news... Probably means Kristi will get to eat lunch:)

Kristi on hospital bed rest, showing signs of moving toward birth!

Hey everybody. Kristi and I are at the hospital and Kristi is currently on magnesium to stop contractions. Cervix is very soft so Kristi is on hospital bed rest for 48 hours minimum. The boys are at Grandma's house. Next week has the potential of being very crazy. I'm definitely going to need some help next week while at work. Please let me know if you have some time available to watch the boys next week. Kristi's phone number: 503-216-7318. She also has the laptop here if you would like to email her. We thank you for your prayers! UPDATE 6:00am, July 28th: Still having contractions even though Kristi has been on Magnesium all night... They are very mild contractions but they are way too consistant. I'm probably going to stay here today instead of going in to work. Kristi got the first steroid shot last night and she needs to get one more later today... the steroid shot helps the babies lungs develop quicker in case they do end up coming soon. Kristi barely got any sleep last night. We're praying the contractions stop, please join us in praying in that direction.

Bryce's Party

Bryce's party is at his Grandma Sue's house this Saturday at 4:00pm. We'll have hamburgers, hotdogs, mall pools and probably the slip in slide...

Call if you need directions. I forget the actual address off the top of my head. Invitations went in the mail today. We look forward to seeing you then!
